The Briarwood Event Calendar

Our activity program attempts to accommodate each individual's needs and choices for how he/she spends time both in and outside the facility. Social, spiritual, intellectual and cultural opportunities are offered to promote and enhance the well being of our residents.

Transportation is available twice a week for shopping, banking, or other personal needs. In addition, outings are scheduled weekly (weather permitting) to various points of interest.

The Briarwood has an active Resident Council that meets monthly to provide input in developing the activity calendar.

October 16th: Cuyahoga Valley Train Ride
October 31st: Trick or Treat
Halloween will be celebrated with Highland Elementary School trick or treating with the residents. The 2nd graders will be in the building Friday morning dressed and ready for candy and fun. If you would like to participate or donate candy there will be approximately 80 little witches, ghouls, and ghosts that would appreciate the goodies.
